MIDI Record Quantize Question

I am triggering Breaktweaker on a track that has input quantize set to restrict the recorded notes so as to land on the "next" 8th note.

But obviously this makes no difference since the MIDI notes received by breaktweaker areen't quantized at all.

So I thought maybe if I routed one track into another one, that somehow the quantize behavior might affect the MIDI going into Breaktweaker.

Again, no luck.

How is this done? I mean, how can I get my vst to receive quantized input?
